Customer Requirement
The customer is looking for a portable solar power station in the 2,000W–2,500W class, including solar panels, for powering a freezer and supporting off-grid use. The proposed delivery destination is Cali, Colombia.
Recommended Configuration
Primary Recommendation: BP2400 Solar Power Station Package
We recommend quoting the following configuration:
- 1 × BP2400 portable power station
- DSF/DS-series portable solar panels, with the total solar input configured within the power station's maximum solar input range
- Optional wheels and telescopic handle for easier movement
- Optional DC charging cable if required
The BP2400 is the closest match to the requested power range and has a documented solar input capacity of up to 1,200W.

Freezer Compatibility
The BP2400 can be considered for freezer applications because it provides:
- 2,400W continuous pure-sine-wave AC output;
- 4,800W peak output for short starting surges;
- LiFePO₄ battery technology for repeated daily use;
- Solar recharge capability for off-grid operation.
However, the final compatibility check must be based on the freezer's nameplate data. Please confirm:
- Rated voltage and frequency;
- Rated running power or current;
- Compressor starting power, if available;
- Required operating hours per day;
- Whether the freezer must run continuously during the night or during cloudy weather.

Runtime Estimation Method
Actual runtime depends on the freezer's average operating load, compressor duty cycle, ambient temperature and the selected operating reserve. A preliminary estimate can be calculated as follows:
Estimated runtime (hours) = 2,662Wh × usable-energy factor × inverter efficiency ÷ average freezer load (W)
The usable-energy factor and inverter efficiency should be confirmed from the final configuration and operating conditions. We do not recommend confirming a guaranteed runtime until the freezer's rated and starting power are provided.
Off-Grid Operating Concept
The proposed system can be used as follows:
- Connect the freezer to the BP2400's AC output.
- Connect the DSF/DS-series solar panels to the MPPT solar input.
- Use solar energy during the day to power the freezer and recharge the battery.
- Use the stored battery energy when solar generation is temporarily insufficient or unavailable.
- Use AC charging as a backup option where grid power is available.
- If longer autonomy is required, evaluate a larger configuration or a parallel/expanded DP-series solution.
Alternative Configuration: DP2400iL
The DP2400iL can be offered as an alternative where portability and future expansion are important.
Key features stated in the product materials include:
- Maximum 2.4kW continuous output;
- 2,496Wh LiFePO₄ battery;
- Built-in 800W MPPT controller;
- Support for utility, solar, generator and wind-generator charging;
- Parallel operation of two units for higher power and expanded capacity;
- Zero-gravity design and all-terrain rollers;
- APP monitoring;
- Multiple protection systems;
- EU and US safety certification and a five-year global warranty, subject to confirmation for the exact export configuration.
For a single freezer and a solar-panel-inclusive package, the BP2400 is the preferred first quotation because its detailed solar input specification supports a larger solar array of up to 1,200W. The DP2400iL is more suitable when portability, parallel operation or future capacity expansion is a priority.
Proposed Supply Package
The quotation can be prepared with the following options:
Standard Package
- BP2400 power station;
- Portable solar panels;
- Standard charging cables;
- User manual and operating instructions;
- Standard export packaging.
Optional Items
- Wheels and telescopic handle;
- Additional DC charging cable;
- Additional solar panel capacity, within the model's MPPT limits;
- DP2400iL alternative or two-unit parallel configuration for higher power and longer autonomy;
- Spare cables or replacement accessories.
The final product quantity, solar-panel wattage, accessories, inventory status, production lead time, and pricing should be confirmed by the supplier before issuing a commercial quotation.
Shipping Options to Cali, Colombia
Because the product contains a lithium battery, the final transport method must be confirmed with the carrier and based on the required battery transport documentation.
Option 1: Sea Freight + Inland Delivery
- Suitable for cost-sensitive shipments or multiple units;
- Can be quoted as LCL or FCL depending on quantity;
- Includes ocean transport to the selected Colombian port plus inland delivery to Cali, subject to the agreed Incoterm;
- Usually more economical than air freight, but generally slower.
Option 2: Air Freight for Time-Sensitive Delivery
- Suitable for samples or urgent shipments;
- Faster than sea freight;
- Usually more expensive for lithium-battery equipment;
- Acceptance, packaging, documentation and carrier restrictions must be checked before booking.
Option 3: Express or Courier Shipment for Samples
- Can be considered for a small sample order;
- Availability depends on the courier's acceptance of the battery-containing product;
- The courier may require additional battery and dangerous-goods documentation;
- Final delivery coverage to the exact address in Cali must be confirmed.
Recommended Quotation Basis
We recommend requesting the supplier to quote at least two alternatives:
- Delivered-to-Cali option, with inland delivery and destination charges clearly itemized; and
- Port-based option, such as CIF to the selected Colombian port, with the buyer handling local customs clearance and inland delivery.
The quotation should clearly state whether the following are included or excluded:
- Export packaging;
- Battery transport documentation;
- Ocean or air freight;
- Cargo insurance;
- Customs clearance;
- Import duties and taxes;
- Port handling charges;
- Inland delivery to Cali;
- Residential or commercial delivery surcharge.
No freight price, delivery time or duty amount should be confirmed until the supplier and carrier verify the exact product configuration, quantity, shipping method and delivery address.
Information Required for a Final Quotation
Please confirm the following points:
- Quantity required for the first order;
- Freezer brand/model or a photo of the nameplate;
- Freezer rated voltage, frequency and power/current;
- Estimated daily operating hours and required backup time;
- Whether the freezer must operate overnight without sunlight;
- Exact delivery address and postal code in Cali, Colombia;
- Preferred shipping priority: lowest cost, fastest delivery or balanced option;
